Remember how you spent your time in elementary and high school? I bet it's a lot different from what kids are exposed to today, given that funding for extra-curricular activities and after-school programs have significantly dropped.
Enter Tong Guan, Executive Director of the Do What U Luv Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides kids with access to extra-curricular programs, ranging from the classics like arts, dance and music to robotics, computer coding and yoga. In this episode, Tong and I chat through key gaps in the public education system and what it's like to lead a non-profit through 6 years of operations - from inception and beyond.
